What a great start to our 2019 U12 Football Lily Óg! With over 220 U12 lads participating today we have to acknowledge the great work all our clubs are putting into the development of our game throughout the whole of county Kildare. The skill and commitment of this generation is being nurtured by all of the very many Volunteer Mentors in all of our clubs, and when you witness the display like we had today, you have to take your hat off to everybody involved!
The Football was of a great standard as was commented on by both parents and coaches a like. The Lily Óg initiative has proven to be a great success and we hope that with the help of everybody, including the out of this world sponsorship from Bord na Móna, that we will be able to continue this project well into the future!!!!
We would like to thank our County Players,
Mikey Conway, Emmet Bolton, Eamon Callahan, Brian Flanagan, Podge Fogarty & Paul Divilly, for their support today in making the first joint session such an enjoyable experience for over 200 U12 Boys. Also all our mentors (TOO MANY TO NAME) who put in such a great effort in order to make the experience such a success for the boys. Our two referees also deserve a big thanks for their help today, both Adam & Eoin Meehan were of great help!
To all the participants, lads you really are making the future of our game look good, a great effort from everyone of over 200 of you showed that the skill and commitment in Kildare is present in you all!!!!

Lily Og Combined North & South Day this Saturday June 9th. Matches and county training in Ballykelly. Lads to register in Ballykelly at 9am SHARP..
